Basset Buddies Rescue, Inc.   is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the re-homing and rescue of Basset hounds in the Minnesota, Wisconsin and Northern Illinois area. We work closely with the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul Basset Hound Club ! This event is the first to be held in Minnesota! BBR wants to take the time to get to know their BBR volunteers, basset friends in the community and to say thank you for all of the support we have received This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know BBR and meet other basset enthusiasts in the area! If you are interested in adoption, fostering or any other possible way to become involved this is the place to be!

The details:

Saturday, June 7, 2008
12:00 PM until 3:00 PM
Locke Park - Pavilion #1 
450 - 71st Avenue NE
Fridley, MN
** Dogs MUST be on-leash for this portion of the event!
There is also a playground for kids at our location!

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Off-Leash dog park play time
(Located right next door to the Pavilion)

A printable flyer is available for download!  Print it out and post it where ever you can! Pass the info on to your friends, family and co-workers!

Featured:  Games, raffles, food/beverages available for purchase vendors, friendship, t-shirts and MORE!!!

Entry Fees:

$15 per basset - up to 3
$45 - for families with 3 or more bassets!
* Please feel free to do some fundraising! Any donations received will go towards your entry fee!

BBR currently has 80 dogs within the BBR organization with 25+ on the waiting list. This event will also be a fundraiser to help BBR raise money to help care of those homeless hounds we are caring for! 

Donation requests:  We are looking for donation for items for the raffles and as prizes for the various games! Dog toys, collars, leashes, gift cards to PetCo, PetSmart, movie gift cards, etc. Other possible ideas: mugs, books, stationary, toys for kids...the ideas are limitless!
