Thanks to everyone who so far contributed, we really appreciate your donations!  With your geneorousity, we should have a spetacular raffle this year!

So far these are the themes I have going for the baskets.  June 8th is fast approaching!  Again, let me know if you have any items you could donate for these themes.  I plan to prepare the baskets and wrap in cellophane prior to the show, so it will help greatly to have items prior to the day of the show (please contact me to arrange how to get the items to me).  Any items that don't fit the raffle basket theme are still welcome donations!  I don't necessarily need them prior if you plan to come to the show, but here again I can collect them prior if you don't plan to come to the show.

*Pet Lovers/Basset Hound Lovers Basket (I might have enough donations to do two!)
*Movie/Game Night Basket
*Coffee Lovers Basket
*Entertaining Basket 
*Cherry Themed Basket (donated by Mike and Lori Pfeifer)

Other options:  Aromatherapy basket, Gardening basket

Thanks again to all that have generously donated $$$ so far for the raffle or club, for those of you that sent checks, we will let you know where and how your $$$ were used!

    Hi all,



    I'll be helping Barb w/ the raffle again this year!  I was thinking it would be nice to do several "basket" themes, these are always big hits w/ the raffle.  I'd like to propose the following:

     

    Pet Lover Basket

    Entertaining Basket

    Aromatherapy Basket

    Others?

     

    I'd like to collect these items for baskets prior to the event, so I can organize them.  I am willing to drive to you and obtain them and drop at my place, please contact me to arrange.

     

    Alternatively, I could take small donations, where I could go and purchase items for the baskets.



    Of course as always, any donations towards the raffle are appreciated, I'll organize individual items like we always do for the raffles.



    This was a big success last year, even those in adjacent show rings, who weren't necessarily part of our Specialty, bid on items!  We raised alot of money!

    To all members, former members and friends of the GMSPBHC,

     

    The Specialty show is upon us.  June 8th is coming up fast and the club urgently needs your help.   The show raffle has become our major fund raiser for the year and we need items to raffle.  Our insurance goes up every year and dues alone do not begin to cover that as well as other club expenses.  The parties and play dates that we all enjoy so much do not happen on their own, nor are they free.  The show itself is a major expense, but we cannot exist without it.

     

    Please help.  Dee Klagstad is our hospitality chair and will be contacting current members for food items for the hospitality table.   The trophy committee will be contacting you regarding contributions to the trophy fund and for raffle items.  We are not trying to make a profit, just break even.  Several years ago, we voted to donate to Pet Haven and Basset Buddies when possible.  We would like it to be possible again.

     

    For those of you who have intended to pay your dues and have not done so, that would be a big help, also.
