Stone Mountain Pet Lodge (Blaine, MN)

The Minnesota Dog Groomers Association along with Hot Springs Pet Grooming Salon are hosting a fundraiser. As part of this Basset Buddies Rescue, Inc. has been chosen as the sole rescue to receive donations. 

Hot Springs Grooming Salon (located at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge) is offering discounts of $5 for baths and $10 for grooming packages to anyone making an appointment and bringing along a flyer. For each bath/grooming done during the hours of 12:00 and 6:00 on the 4h of March BBR will receive a $5 donation. 

BBR needs volunteers to help. We need at least 1 person available to shuffle the dogs between the check-in and the groomer (and back again). Your basic traffic control. We also need a couple to be at the BBR booth available to answer any questions and help promote our organization.

They have asked us to be there from 11:30 to 6:15 or so.

Please email Laura Langanki with your availability to help us out! We did this last year (just ask Shirley and my youngest daughter who worked VERY hard at helping out BBR what a blast it was). 

It is an awesome opportunity for us - a number of rescues also utilize Stone Mounatin for their kenneling needs and yet WE were chosen as their participating rescue to benefit from this fundraiser! This is also the perfect time to get your dog groomed and help out BBR in the process! I had my Lhasa groomed at Hot Springs and I have to tell you....it was the best grooming he has ever had in the last 8 years!! Seriously! I am attaching the flyer for you to print out and pass to anyone you know who may want to also get their dog groomed!!

Don't forget - the day before is the BBR K9 First Aid Day at Stone Mountain! have you made your reservations yet??
