[mnbasset-announce] Specialty show donations

To all members, former members and friends of the GMSPBHC,

The Specialty show is upon us.  June 8th is coming up fast and the club urgently needs your help.   The show raffle has become our major fund raiser for the year and we need items to raffle.  Our insurance goes up every year and dues alone do not begin to cover that as well as other club expenses.  The parties and play dates that we all enjoy so much do not happen on their own, nor are they free.  The show itself is a major expense, but we cannot exist without it.

Please help.  Dee Klagstad is our hospitality chair and will be contacting current members for food items for the hospitality table.   The trophy committee will be contacting you regarding contributions to the trophy fund and for raffle items.  We are not trying to make a profit, just break even.  Several years ago, we voted to donate to Pet Haven and Basset Buddies when possible.  We would like it to be possible again.

For those of you who have intended to pay your dues and have not done so, that would be a big help, also.
