[mnbasset-announce] Nationals Auction Basket

Hi all,
This is Mary Ferreter in St. Cloud. I would like to
ask everyone's help. This year at the Basset Hound
Club of America Nationals they are going to be
auctioning off baskets created by the different local
clubs that are associated with with the National
organization. The money raised will go towards
Nationals, BUT they are also having a judging contest
where the local club could win up to $100! There is a
size limitation and also it is requested that the
basket contain special items related to the region or
local artistic creations. I am looking for donations
to create a basket to represent our club. If you have
any ideas or donations to build the basket I would
greatly appreciate it. Please e-mail me ASAP at my

Since I consider myself a budding bead artist, I am
going to be making a beaded suncatcher that is a
basset head study. I can send let everyone know when
and where to view the picture when it is finished. 

I plan on going to Nationals this year, so can take
the basket with me for delivery. Let's show what
awesome things come from the Upper Midwest,
expessecially the Minnesota area! Thanks in advance
